Hunger

"I once heard someone observe that spiritual eating operates in the opposite way from physical eating. If we don't eat physically, we grow hungry . Once we consume food, the hunger subsides, and we feel satisfied. If we don't eat spiritually, we can lose our spiritual appetite. The less we eat spiritually, the less hungry we become. But the more we are nourished by the Word of God, the hungrier we become for spiritual food."
