Well-Adjusted People...?

“If you read Scripture carefully, you will never get the idea that the work of Christ is for well-adjusted people who just need a little redemptive boost. It never presents any human condition or dilemma as outside the scope of the gospel. Redemption is nothing less than the rescue of helpless people facing an eternity of torment apart from God’s love.” ~ Paul David Tripp (from Instruments in the Redeemer’s Hands)

Let God's Love Be a Pattern

"Father, let your love to me be the pattern of my love to my neighbor. You spared no expense to rescue me from the misery of my sinful past, so let me offer the benefit of the doubt to all those I know and love. May they, too, become your faithful servants, and may all Christians everywhere live up to the religion they profess. Amen." ~ John Wesley
