Power of the Resurrection

The grace and mercy of God never contradicts His holiness because it leads to the cross and empty tomb. The cross tells us God loves us as we are not as we should be. The power of the resurrection is the declaration that God doesn't leave us as we are but loves us enough to restore the image of Himself in us. It is through the cross and resurrection that we participate in the fellowship of the Trinity. Our deepest heart's desires are satisfied in that space. ~ John Comstock
