I think that the Word of God is a life tool. I think it's our map for life. I think it's our compass. I've heard people that are even non believers say that they could learn many wise things from the Word of God. But to answer your question, do I think that someone that is not interested in the Word of God can be interested in God? I'd have to say (in my opinion) yes, I think they still could be. It doesn't mean that everyone who is not interested "is", but I do believe they can be. For some it might just be feeling worn out or even feeling lazy, but for others there can be many reasons they find themselves uninterested. Where I feel that a person benefits and needs God's Word, I don't feel I can say they are not interested in God. That's between them and God. However, I can share my interest and hope they will come to share and feel it too.
