Sectarian Worship?

"In heaven there will be no sectarian worship, no denominational differences, no church creeds. There will be no temple worship, for God and His Son, Jesus Christ, will be the centers of worship (Revelation 21:22)

Yea!!! I can hardly wait for those barriors to come down. My favorite Bible studies have been in ecumenical groups where we had to talk outside our own denomination's lingo. I prefer to say I am a Christian rather than a Nazarene!

In a book I finished this morning at the gym one of the main characters didn't want to call himself a Christian because too many people use it just because they are American and he called himself a Christ Follower. I like it. But you know its so much easier to say Christian because Christ follower really holds us to a higher standard. And sometimes that higher standard can take us to places we never thought possible. I plan to post about the book maybe today...

I appreciate you Carol! I know what you mean about not wanting to claim a denomination even though my denomination is such a part of my life... In heaven we will all be Christ followers... Check back for tomorrows quote - more of the same...
