Why not sin?

"The reason for not going out and sinning all you like is the same as the reason for not going out and putting your nose in a slicing machine: its dumb, stupid, and no fun. Some individual sins may have pleasure stillattached to them because of the residual goodness of the realities they are abusing: adultery can indeed be pleasant and tying one on can amuse. But betrayal, jealousy, love grown cold, and the gray dawn of the morning after are nobody's idea of a good time."

Wish we would all think about the consequences of our actions before we take them...but that takes a very wise person (not an educated one...a wise one...one who sees things from God's persepctive). Most of us are too quick to act or react and forget the "thinking about it...thinking it all the way through to the consequences" part. Good food for thought here, Robin!

Carol,

I took care of the double posts for you - not a problem. Do you see the trash can at the bottom of your comment. All you have to do is click on that when you are signed into blogger and you can delete any comment you don't want.

I've had double comments appear before too.
